****** Cue Stick at Carnival City bar

Carnival City is currently hosting the Blackball National Pool Championship. On Friday, 29 January 2016 my boyfriend, who resides in Cape Town and is participating in the event, asked a member of staff at the bar if he could keep his cue there as he had already checked out of the hotel and had no place to keep his cue. When he went back to fetch his cue stick he discovered that it had been ******. The manager had promised to review the camera footage on Monday, 1 February when all staff would be back at work but to date nothing has been done. He keeps promising my boyfriend that they will look into the matter but nothing has been done. The championship ends this Sunday, 7 February and something needs to be done before he leaves Johannesburg. I am disgusted by the utter lack of concern or consideration. Does Carnival City have no regard for their customers?? Are they just going to sit back and harbour this ***** and do nothing about it. What is the delay in reviewing the footage?? I thought casino security was much tighter than that.
