Breakfast / Upgrade of Hotel

I had visited Carnival City on the 9th of April. Prior to me arriving , I had contacted Carnival City to find out why has the room rate increased by 100%. Someone at MVG then said to me the reason for the rate increase is due to the room now including breakfast. I had then received a call to confirm my booking from a lady named Portia. I had asked her can she please confirm that the Hotel caters a Halaal breakfast as the room rate includes breakfast. She did not bother to respond and confirm this.I had also explained to her that should this not be catered for the option should be left to the client not to choose the room rate with breakfast. On arrival , reception had called the chef who said that they do cater for Halaal and it is a lamb curry and lamb sausage. At the breakfast buffet , shockingly i had asked the chef making the omelet's where is the Halaal breakfast, he said to me it is on the same table with all of the other food , including the bacon and pork sausage, etc. The food was mixed with all the other food and did not even have a sign stating Halaal. This is unacceptable and disrespectful to the client. Breakfast should then be offered as optional.
