Frustrating - How difficult can it really be to simply change a debit order date?

I have been trying to change my debit order date forever now with no luck, I sent endless emails and contacted the call centre and even used the chat option on their site, still, no luck and my debit order keep bouncing since I switched jobs and my payday changed.
