Car Clinic on Monument

I took my A180Cdi Mercedes to Car clinic on Monument in Kempton park on 18 June 2024 for the alternator to be repaired, after having recently moved to Kempton Park from Centurion and not knowing service centers in that area. After confirming with Molefe that they know how to reach the alternator as it sits under the back of the engine, i let them do the job. I got the car back a week later with an engine warning light on and multiple ESP faults, putting the car into limp mode, which they were not able to repair. They charged me R9020 for the alternator repair including replacing 2 ball joints and an engine mounting. It cost me to arrange with my insurance to get a ***gy back tow truck to come from Centurion to fetch the car and take it to an approved Mercedes service centre, in addition to paying R610 excess fee for being outside the 40 km radius. It cost me approximately R15750 to get all the wiring sorted out, as the wires to the sensors on the back of the engine were either broken or ********** with the way they worked on my car, and to replace the steering angle sensor. Molefe wanted me to bring the car back and i told him that i cannot do that as the mechanics in Centurion were busy repairing all the damage as we spoke on the phone, which he was not happy about. I also told him that to bring the vehicle back was impossible and that after all the damage that he and his team had caused to the car, i did not have any trust or faith in their ability to properly repair my car! He then told me that i should get some of my money back from Car Clinic on Monument and a few days later he advised me that i would be getting R3000 on the Friday, which never happened. The whatsapp messages and other messages regarding the payment of the R3000 were deleted soon after that phone call. The lady who owns the company (Melinda) never responded to 3 e-mails and Gladwin, the manager was also never available to answer any phone calls or messages left for him, leading us to believe that he is avoiding us. Molefe is the biggest **** of all, never to be trusted to keep his word or to be believed.

Never ever take your vehicle to them as they do not know what they are doing and they will just cause you expensive damage!!!
