**If there was an option to give zero stars, I would.** Very disappointing and **sloppy service from Car Clinic Little Falls**. I took my car in specifically for a **clutch diagnosis**, but instead I was quoted for a number of other items, including the brakes, CV joints and rack ends, which were not what I had asked them to diagnose. To make matters worse, they **lost my lock nut** while my car was in their care. When I raised the issue, they did nothing to help or resolve the situation. The whole experience was **sloppy, unprofessional and extremely disappointing**. There was a complete lack of accountability and customer service. I expected a professional service from a workshop, but unfortunately that was far from what I received. **I would not recommend Car Clinic to anyone.**

I had a very disappointing experience with Car Clinic Boksburg. I took my VW Polo in because it was losing water. The car has a full service history with VW, and it had a major service done at the agents less than 3 months ago. Based on a family recommendation, I decided to try Car Clinic in Boksburg. On arrival, the technician suggested it could be something minor like a thermostat or water bottle, but also noted there was no water in the motor. Shortly after, I was given a quote of R24,000 for another major service, including brakes front and back. When I said that was out of budget, the price suddenly dropped to R18,000, which already raised concerns. They kept the car for a couple of days and said everything was fine, but warned that if water appeared in the motor I should bring it back. That same evening and the next morning, the issue was still there — water levels were low again and there were signs of water in the motor. I returned the car, and this time they claimed it was a head gasket issue, but said they could “make a plan” to fix it temporarily. This didn’t sit right with me, so I got a second opinion from a trusted mechanic. After a proper pressure test and thorough inspection, he found no evidence of a head gasket failure or water mixing with oil. The actual issue turned out to be a faulty water bottle cap, which was replaced for just R135. Since getting the car back from Car Clinic, the vehicle has not been the same — it now has an idle/jolting issue that was never there before. We have so much trouble with our Polo now. Overall, I would not recommend this workshop. The diagnosis was inconsistent, the pricing questionable, and the suggested “temporary fix” for a major issue like a head gasket felt dishonest. In my opinion, this is not a business that operates on trust or proper workmanship. Please think twice before using them.

I'm rating them 1 star as there as the 0 star option is not available, i sent in a car (mini cooper) to have gearbox repaired/replace, with this the agreement with car clinic was "if do not follow through with they replacement/repair we would not reinstall it and leave gear box in the boot" which i agreed, later i then contacted Eugene (Reginal manager) regarding the pick upon my arrival i would find that they have installed new gear box without my consent and i ended up paying for a tow truck to waste his time and my money ,i then brought it up with Eugene and he made it very clear he was not aware of the installation as he has many stores to manage which does apparently not include my car ,i then brought forward my frustration after i paid for the "Strip & Assess" invoice to his attention, Ackording to Eugene "this is not my problem as i did not give the go ahead for this work to be done" i kindly ask if he would then reimburse me as he broke the original agreement and i now need to pay for another tow truck and he made it very clear this is not to concern him inclosing i always serviced both my cars at this branch and felt i could trust them however if this is the person who is the last resort in resolving issues i would not come back there and would not recommend anybody to go there either, again this is not a reflection of the branch just Eugene who handled this matter poorly and with no empathy from a clients perspective
