Warning! Poor workmanship!
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unacceptable service I received from Car Care Clinic during a recent repair of my vehicle.
On 24 May 2025, I brought my car in to have the glow plugs replaced—a task that was described to me as a “5-minute job.” I supp**** OEM glow plugs for the repair. However, this simple procedure escalated into a three-week ordeal due to the glow plug breaking off in the cylinder head.
Car Care Clinic proceeded to remove the head and, during reassembly, used the wrong head gasket, old head bolts, and demonstrated poor workmanship throughout the process. This led to a catastrophic engine failure, leaving me stranded on the highway.
Following the breakdown, Car Care Clinic incorrectly diagnosed the issue as worn piston rings. This was later proven to be false. With the help of a trusted expert, the vehicle was collected (in parts) without payment after a heated discussion with Management. The vehicle was repaired over a single weekend using the same OEM parts I had originally provided to Car Care Clinic. This clearly demonstrates that the failure was due to negligence and incorrect repairs performed by your workshop.
Vehicle came in for glow plugs one of the glow plugs broke off in the head this is something that every mechanical workshop will agree to that it happens time to time and the workshop cannot be blamed for parts that is brittle or damaged.
I do agree that the part (Head gasket) that was supp**** by Car Care Clinic wasn't the correct type of part it was ordered by our supplier directly from the VIN number Every oil ports hole was the same the only problem is that it was supposed to be a metal plate gasket.
When the vehicle returned to Car Care Clinic first thing we noticed was that the turbocharger turbine was completely stuck customer was notified and he confirmed that.
The customer was informed that Car Care Clinic will repair the vehicle but he took the cylinder head to his own engeneering company to be repaired two days later customer collected the vehicle at no charge to have the vehicle repaired somewhere else Car Care Clinic wasn't even given a fair chance to repair the vehicle.
