Speedometer not working
My car went to Car Care Clinic Valley View for a clutch replacement on Tuesday, 29 June. On 30 June I noted that my speedo meter is not working. I went back and after about 20 minutes waiting, I was informed that they cannot assist as the mechanic who worked on my car was absent. I went back on Thursday to be informed that they couldn't find the speedometer part, but the will get one and replace it on Friday. Friday we received a call to inform us that they ordered the part an will replace it on Monday. Monday came and go. No feedback. Today is a week later. My speedometer, which was functional when my car went in, is still not working.

Customer was contacted for the vehicles vin number, so Car Care Clinic ordered the part from "KIA " and received the part but, the housing that holds the part had to be ordered separately and was ordered after. Customer was given a courtesy vehicle for the weekend, so we can do the repair on the firewall where the clutch cable fits into. The housing for the speedo drive was delivered on Thursday 29-07-2021 and was fitted on the 31-07-2021 and vehicle was sorted. The customers husband is happy with the service provided by Car Care Clinic valley view but MS M VAN DER HEEVER is unhappy reason being of parts that is delayed due to riots in KZN thus is not in our control. We would like to assist where we can with matters that is in our control.
