Not to be trusted!

Got a major service done at the Claremont branch. I then received a list with all the faults and a quote for parts that needed to be replaced. One of these parts was a lower control arm. The quote said it would cost R20 000 to replace. We googled and could not find a single lower control arm for that price so we drove around to a few reputable spare shops and not one of them quoted us above R2000. My husband suggested we go back to Car Care Clinic to ask them if they made a mistake quoting us that much. Sure enough they all pointed the finger at one another and then blamed it on someone they said was new who they said did the quote. Does no one check these quotes. Such blatant lies. Might I add the total quote was well over R30 000. Every single item on it was grossly overcharged for. The mechanic at the workshop looked visibly shocked that they quoted us R20 000. These people are ****mers, had we not known better and not questioned it…. Car Care Clinic’s website says they are ethical LOL. Needless to say I no longer trust them and took my car somewhere else. Do your homework before taking your car to these people. I wonder if the owner of this branch knows about what happens at his business. Exploiting people who choose your business to render a service. Sies!!!
