I am following up on my previous HelloPeter complaint because nothing has changed. My vehicle has been at Car Care Clinic Vereeniging for 23 days with almost no communication. I took it in for a routine full service. It is only five years old, has under 100,000 km, and had no engine or oil system problems before the service. Immediately afterwards, the service reminder light was not reset. A mechanic initially admitted that an incorrect-sized part had been fitted but later denied this after speaking to management. Two months later, the oil system failed, destroying my engine. I was told the RMI found the workshop not responsible, yet I was never contacted or given a chance to present my side. I have still not received the RMI report, a technical explanation, or evidence supporting their findings. I believe this matter deserves an independent investigation and fair treatment.
