<p>You know when you drop your car off at any garage for a service or repairs you have to leave your keys and sign a form with your details basically releasing your car into their care...... well according to Marius at the Northriding branch this form entitles Car Care Clinic to go ahead and repair your car WITHOUT having to inform you of the cost!!! REALLY???? Marius says that the call they give you to let you know how much it's going to cost is actually just a courtesy call and they don't have to do it. So basically when you drop your car off at this branch, not knowing the extent of the damage nor how much it is going to cost.... they can just go ahead and fix it no matter the cost to you!</p> <p>Marius fixed our car WITHOUT our consent which cost R15000 and because we can't afford to pay this it has been sitting in their shop for 2 months and get this..... because it's been there for so long they are now charging us storage fees which comes to an extra R10 000 and they won't release our car until we pay so we did the only thing we could and contacted Wesbank to pay the bill before it went any higher and Wesbank is taking our car back so we have now lost the car. All of this could have been avoided as we could have told Marius in the beginning that we couldn't afford it and taken our car back home..</p> <p>Before I forget.... 2 weeks prior to all of this my car was giving me problems so I took it to Kia Motors but they wanted to charge too much so I took it to Car Care Clinic in Northriding. Kia told me that my crank shaft damper pulley had to be replaced and Marius said he checked it and there is nothing wrong with it and that Kia was talking *******... the reason why my car went in to be repaired by Car Care Clinic is because this crank shaft damper pulley snapped.... so my question is does Marius really know what he is doing there? He told me there was nothing wrong with it?? So be wary when speaking to Marius as he has no idea what he is talking about!! </p> <p> </p> <p>I MUST WARN EVERYONE OUT THERE WHO IS THINKING OF TAKING THEIR CAR TO CAR CARE CLINIC IN NORTHRIDING TO PLEASE BE AWARE THAT AS SOON AS YOU SIGN THAT FORM RELEASING YOUR VEHICLE INTO THEIR CARE, THEY CAN FIX IT NO MATTER THE COST AND YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR CAR BACK UNTIL YOU PAY! IF YOU DON'T PAY AFTER 7 DAYS, THEY WILL START CHARGING YOU STORAGE FEES.</p> <p><strong>IF THERE ARE ANY LAWYERS OUT THERE THAT THINK WE HAVE A GOOD CASE PLEASE CAN YOU CONTACT US AS WE WOULD LOVE JUSTICE TO BE DONE.
