Don't feel safe in my car anymore

<p>I initially went to Care Care Clinic Lynnwood to get a service done on my car. The day after the service, a rattling sound started that was obviously coming from the engine. I took it back to them and they were certain the belt was incorrect and it took me taking the car back three times before they got the 'right' belt. </p> <p> </p> <p>But the sound didn't go away. They said it was the timing pulley, but after having another mechanic look at it, they say it's not that. I still haven't found the source of the sound and it scares me because I feel like my car is always about to break. </p> <p> </p> <p>My clutch cable also broke and they replaced it for me, but neglected to tune my clutch. So while I was driving home it became more and more difficult to get my car in gear. I was afraid of damaging my car and drove home praying I wasn't in an accident because I couldn't control my car. </p> <p> </p> <p>They sent a mechanic to my house the next morning (I had to take a day off work) who then proceeded to tune the clutch in 30 seconds. Why couldn't they do that in the shop when they installed it? Why put me through so much trauma? Were they hoping I'd break something while driving so they could get more money?</p> <p> </p> <p>The staff are very friendly and helpful but whoever is working on the engines is obviously sabotaging them to make you come back. I don't feel safe in my car and will be trading it in early next year. I've nearly been in a serious accident before and this experience was so similar that I couldn't drive for a while, I would nearly have a panic attack at the thought of getting behind the wheel. </p> <p> </p> <p>I initially wanted to come on here and write a good review about them, but now I feel obligated to warn others not to risk losing faith in your car just to save some money. I know it's expensive but rather go to a legit mechanic. Neither my husband nor myself are mechanical, so we are at the mercy of others when it comes to our car and safety. </p>
