Do not ever take your car to Car Care Clinic Bellville

I took my car to Car Care Clinic in Bellville on Monday 25 January for a major service. They were one of the cheapest quotes I received and therefore I decided to go with them. After dropping off my car on Monday I was called by Michael or Martin informing me that after inspection my car needed quite a few things to be done. They said that everything amounted to about R31 000. However, Martin or Michael said that they could give me a special quote of about 10K +- for everything. I told him that that is still too much and that I could only afford about 5K. So apparently the important stuff was done including the major service, and to my dismay, all four of my coil packs now had to be replaced as well. After collecting my car the evening there was a misfire on my car and I immediately turned around and took my car back. I told them that my car was driving perfectly the morning I dropped it off and now all of a sudden there's a misfire. I was told by Martin and Michale that my 3rd coil pack was faulty and had to be replaced. Because I wanted my car to drive I bought the coil pack but one of their guys now struggled to get the suppressor out of the hole. I then had to leave my car overnight and they could only fix it the next morning. I believe that one of the guys tampered with my coil packs and subsequently damaged them. I should not have been responsible for replacing that coil pack but they were so adamant that the coil pack was faulty.

Apart from that, I was shocked at the prices they quoted me after I spoke to the agents directly. Below is a breakdown of how they were going to rip me off.

Car care clinic quotation - Spark plugs X 4 = R2884 - Coil Pack X 4 = R8955 - Cambelt X 1 = R5658

VW quotation - Spark plugs X = R806 - Coil Pack X 4 = R6400 - Cambelt X 1 = R2892

This is a R7426 markup which I think is ****************. These people are a bunch of ****** and I will never recommend anyone to take their car there. How in the hell do you charge me so much more than what the agents are charging?
