Deceiving and completely dishonest.

Valley View Car Care Clinic -

BMW 520D - Original quote 2 weeks before service - R5100 - actual price after service; R8900-00. I was told that original BMW parts will be installed and the reason it is so affordable is that they are sourced from a company in Boksburg and do not go through the dealer network. Quote was to conduct a major service, skim all 4 discs and replace all brake pads. Major service was done, rear and front brake discs were skimmed and rear brake pads replaced. Front brake pads not replaced. I was charged additionally for an engine, radiator and brake fluid flush. I asked to have the wiper blades replaced, which was an additional R700-00. They are not performing as suppose to, because they were not tested properly.

No communication during the day in terms of progress, vehicle not washed and the steering wheel was full of grease (I realized this when I arrived back home with pitch black palms). The service manager left before I took possession of my vehicle, so we could not perform a walk through and have a detailed debrief.

Net Net, lessons learned;

1.Obtain detailed quote in writing. 2.Do not ever make use of Car Care Clinic again. This branch was completely dishonest and unprofessional. Extremely disappointing experience. 3.Rather have your vehicle service at the agents, yes, it may be more expensive, but at least you have recourse and have original parts installed.

Making use of Car Care Clinic is like expecting a veterinarian assistant to perform a craniotomy on a human being.

Avoid these guys, simple.
