I received a quotation from this company for the replacement of a new clutch for R15 623.00. which I felt was high but having a sick husband in hospital and needing to have the vehicle repaired urgently I advised them to go ahead although I did request that they look at a discounted amount. On collection of the vehicle I was told that the amount had already been discount from R17 000.00 . In the interim there appears to be another problem with my vehicle with the steering and I was told by the mechanic that in 2021 a similar vehicle to mine had the same problem and the cost to repair at that time was about R12 000.00. I have since shopped around directly to steering repair companies and have been quoted R2 200.00 for this repair. At the same time then I requirested from various repairers the cost to replace the clutch and I was quoted between R8500 to R9500.00 for this repair. Be vary wary of this branch of car clinic as the prices are astronimical compared to what is out there in the market currently. Dont be fooled like I was. A real shame to treat a pensioner in this manner.
