I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received at Car Care Clinic Paarl during a recent visit for a diagnostic test on my vehicle.

Following the test, I was informed that the fault lay with the fuel pump and that it needed to be replaced. Trusting your expertise, you began the process of sourcing quotes and notifying my warranty provider to proceed with the replacement. However, over the course of more than a month, I experienced a complete lack of clear communication from your team.

I was forced to follow up repeatedly, and during that time, I received three different quotes with significant price discrepancies. The final quote differed from the initial one by R23,163.85, which raised serious concerns about the integrity of the process.

Due to the inconsistent pricing and poor communication, I decided not to proceed with the repair at your branch. I took my vehicle to another Car Care Clinic location, where I was welcomed professionally and promptly assisted. After running a diagnostic test, they confirmed that there was no issue with the fuel pump and recommended using an injector cleaner instead. Since then, my vehicle has shown no signs of fault, and the warning light has not returned.

I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by the possibility that I was advised to replace a part that did not require fixing. This experience has left me questioning the ethics and professionalism of the Paarl branch. I sincerely hope that this feedback reaches the owner and prompts a thorough review of staff conduct and service standards. Without meaningful changes, I fear that many more clients will be lost due to the current management practices.
