Car Care Clinic Centurion Misconduct
On August 18th, I took my car for service to Car Care Clinic in Centurion for a minor service advertised at R599 in their brochure. When I got there I was told the price will be R1,200 because my car is bigger. I accepted the quote and left the car. <br> What was meant to be a minor service took a week and a bill of R7,938.65.<br> The day after I day I got the car back- the car wouldn't move- it had no power and I took it back, the date was 01 September 2015. <br> <br> I spoke to Peter- the manager who informed me that they will check to see what was wrong with the car. I proceeded to phone daily after that to check and every time was told that Peter would call me back. <br> About a month after that, I finally got hold of Peter who informed that they will take the car to a gearbox specialist as they suspect the problem might be with the gearbox. <br> <br> A month later, towards the end of November I received a call from the gearbox specialist informing me that it will cost around R30k to fix, to which I declined and requested to collect the car instead. When I went to collect on the agreed date, I was given an invoice for R5k to cover the specialist's labour fees for inspecting the car. My problem is that I w
