Back yard mechanics

<p>I took my car to Car Care Clinic in Centurion on 17 June 2015 for a 150 979km service. On 18 June 2015 I complained to Car Care Clinic about funny noises the car was making. I was told to return the car the next day to Car Care Clinic. Unfortunately the car left me at the side of the road not even 20km after the service. I asked if my insurance should collect and drop the car at CCC. Pieter then told me not to worry they will collect the car. They towed my car to Car Care Clinic and in this process it got damages. Pieter was so kind as to arrange a loan vehicle. The loan vehicle had no fuel in and didn’t want to start. The loan car went back because of the unexcitable state of it. CCC serviced the car and returned it to me. The fuel consumption on the car was +/-7kml. I was then promised a refund on the fuel when I produce the slips. They took the slips and only refunded me R300-00 out of the R800-00. I had to constantly contact Car Care Clinic regarding the report on my car. Pieter was in meetings or not there and will contact me as soon as he is available. But what a spruce when I got to the work shop he was there. On 22 June 2015 Car Care Clinic finally confirmed that the incorrect oil was put in to my vehicle and that all repairs and the reregistration on my vehicle would be for Car Care Clinic’s account. But in real fact there was no oil in the car. I was told that the engine that was placed in my car came from a car that has been in an accident and only had 36 000km op the clock. I was also promised a year guarantee. None of this was true. The engine in my car is older than the engine that was in my car. There is constant problem oil leaks, noises the air con not working, water tank leaking. The mechanic that assisted me on the side of the road told me that the gear selector cable came off when the engine was replaced. But I should not worry as it just clips back on. Very ironic that he said I should not worry as this was the reason I was on the side of the road once again. The car has been back more than 7 times. The last time Car Care Clinic in Midrand took my car in the mechanic assured me that he has a friend with the same car and the engine should sound like that. Despite desperately contacting Car Care Clinic in March 2016 regarding problem Gwen from Car Care Clinic could just keep on apologising and promising someone will phone me back. No one contacted me and I was left at the side of the road once again. The crank damper had to be replaced. Diagnostic test revealed that I was not hearing noises in my head. There is a very bad piston slab on the engine. The damages to my car from towing it has not been repair. The engine is still leaking oil the problems I had from the start is still there!! And Car Care Clinic is refusing to fix their stuff up. I’m a single mother doing contract work I can’t afford missing work </p>
