Appalling service

If I could give a quarter of a star it would be too much. My Clio was serviced in December 2019 (annual service as I do not clock up 15,000kms a year), I requested then that they also investigate a noisy wheel. Was told all okay. I took my car in on Friday morning for a small leak and told them the noise was still there. I was told I would definitely get it back that afternoon. They called later to say that it was bearings, these should last at a minimum 130 000kms. I had the bearings replaced less than 2 years and less than 6000km ago by them. After a long argument where essentially I was told that their 6 month / 10 000km guarantee had expired and a "sorry for you" attitude, I was assured that I would have my car close of business Saturday. On Saturday I received a call to say the wrong parts had been delivered etc etc. On informing them very clearly that I needed my car for work on Monday I was asked if I could put in a days leave!? WTAF! No dudes, I work for myself - no work no pay!!!! But still I made an arrangement and was guaranteed I would have my car 5pm Monday. I arrived there at 16:50 to find my car still up on the jack..........No folks, I **** you not! Sorry, they sent the wrong parts............ So all in all, I re-arranged my whole social calendar over the weekend to cope with their / their supplier ineptitude, I've lost out on income for today and, now it seems, tomorrow and I have still not heard from their director, whom I requested call me by no later than 8pm tonight. This is the way they treat long standing clients..........not any more. I am telling everyone I know just how **** the service is. Take your vehicle there at your own risk.

So..... I got a phone call at 06:10 this morning from Care Clinic Little Falls to ask if they could pick me up and take me to work, this after they asked last night what time I leave for work. I told them 06:15 and was told they would get back to me. Well, lo and behold, as I said 06:10 "Can you give us your address so we can collect you" I wasn't out of bed yet as I had arranged a hire car at 08:00. So credit to them, they collected me half an hour later and dropped me at the office. I was contacted by the owner via Whatsapp later this morning and we then had a telephonic conversation. Personal reasons and supplier issues were cited as the reasons for all my frustrations and while I understand these things are inevitable in life, one should not allow them to impact service delivery. I was assured of his personal attention to the matter and did receive my car back this afternoon with a small discount for my inconvenience. I am not of a mind to retract any of my statements or posts as the base truths remain unchanged but I am willing to concede that he made the effort to have the matter resolved. Business needs to understand that service delivery means just that.... your customers are your bread and butter, you need to ensure that you keep them happy and p***ing a person off is not the way you get repeat business, especially when your competitor just opened on your doorstep!!
