WRONG PEOPLE WITH PRIVATE INFO AT CAPITEC BANK
As on 31 December 2020 I was called by the so called ***** department of Capitec which told me they had to transfer my money to another account just for me to find out that they have taken every cent in my bank account. I did report this to the police as well as to Capitec bank .. who told me the clain has been denied. After complaint to Hello Peter the bank contacted me telling me they will re consider this clain again. The thing thas is worrying me very much is after this ***** reported I was called three times again with the same story of the money to be transferred. Fortunately I am very alert now and could immediately end this phone call. Where and by who was my info been given or got hold of???? The cart has never been ****** or lost. Somebody in the bank???? Inside info????? I really think that info is not safe as this information is now in somebodys hands without my permission and I would like to know who is responsable for info leaking out so easy. Is it really so hard to find out who or what is going on??? Very dissapointed and thinking of moving to another bank as this private info is in the hands of definately the wrong people.

I was contacted by the bank telling me the decision stays the same which I accepted. The only thing is that I was contacted 3 more times with the same questions and manner and I want to know how did this person or persons get my information as knowing my account number id and telephone as well as my address. I am not satisfied with the answer I got that they will never give my information to somebody but how did they get this???? Where did they get this and who is responsable for giving my info to somebody? I am not going to leave this matter here and will definately take this further if they cannot tell me who gave my info or where did this leaked out. There was a report I while ago that info leaked out from Capitec which they denied but I am not sure that this did not happen and would like to know how many other people did this happen to..even if I have to go to the newspaper to help me get the answer how many people have been lost their money as well.
