Won't release funds from Australia
My husband opened a flexible savings under the name student account as he is busy studying and didn't want his money to be mixed up with his normal savings account. He received a gift amount from Australia but due to his flexible savings account name being "student account" and not his name, Capitec refuses to release the funds. The person from Australia cannot change the account name as the money has already left his account. My husband needs the funds in order to pay for his studies! This is very frustrating as he needs to pay for his studies before month end!
