Woe for relying on Capitec
January was a tough month!
I had re**** on my capitec \credit facility\" to make it through.
However, Capitec decided to take a debit order that should be done on the 25th on the 28th.
They have been taking three debit orders of my account on the 25th regularly.
So when I wanted to acces my credit facility, I was declined.
On enquiry I was told the debit order was returned \"insufficient funds\".
I drew a bank statement showing that on the 25th when the other two debit orders were taken,
there was indeed enough money to process the 3rd bebit order.
THEY HAD ****!
Then I was told that it was the system that was \"hanging\" and I had to wait.
Two days later they tried to debit from the account that THEN didnt have enough money in!
Should they have taken the money as per the contract and my instruction everything would have been fine.
However, I spent February living of a few hundred rand I borrowed because of their mistake.
No Fair Capitec!
You ****, blamed me and then shrugged your shoulders.
Well as the result of this, I have app**** for debt review, I hope Capitec is happy.
I am done with them!"
