Withdrawal of Funds

My name is Thobile Fonte, and I worked for Capitec Bank for just over a year. On the 20th of September 2023, I submitted my resignation letter and served 30 days' notice until 20 October 2023.

I have been wondering why I have not received my pension fund since its over 2 months now, so I contacted alexforbes and to my surprise, they told me that they have not received a withdrawal request from Capitec Bank.

What then is the purpose of providing notice and signing documents beforehand?
