Why should Capitec charge me to replace a card swallowed by a Capitec ATM?
The Randurg Square Capitec ATM swallowed my card at about 21:30 last night, forcing me to have it blocked via the helpline labeled on the ATM. I went to the branch this morning and was charged R65 for a replacement.
Was I supposed to leave the card overnight in an ATM that's possibly been tempered with and not have it blocked to avoid being charged? What was I supposed to do to avoid getting charged by Capitec to replace a card taken by Capitec?
