Why do you have the fingerprint system?

<p>I live in Joburg and have never experienced what I did in Rustenburg, I went to a brach in Plein street and Meriting (Engine garage) to replace my card after trying to use it only to discover that the chip has yet again been damaged. In Joburg this would be a quick in and out of the branch. Not in Rustenburg though...both branches asked me for "Proof or residence" I was gobsmacked! If they put this into place to curb ***** you ought to be implementing that in Joburg but Rustenburg? So yes...I couldn't replace my card seeing that I was 200km away from home. Where non of that nonsense is required. Not only is it inconvenient for people who are there temporarily it's complete madness! How do I go back home without being allowed to MY MONEY?????? I WILL RETURN TOMORROW TO EITHER BRANCH. I EXPECT THIS TO BE FIXED. This is ridiculous! </p>
