Voetsek! with your logged in Pins and Selfies!!!
I am so up with Capitec and their ridiculous security. Every action requires a pin insert while I am logged in. I am so mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I waste easily over 30 minutes just authenticating myself Fix your ****!!!!! Once a person is logged in I am verified and it is unnecessary to ask 1000s of times for the pin or for my selfie and then log me out when a transaction got an issue and I have to wait an hour. It is not protection, its nearing harassment!

While I value robust security measures, Capitec's implementation of this policy is overly intrusive and significantly impacts usability. Other financial institutions provide comparable security without employing such a consistently disruptive method. I am no longer satisfied with this level of inconvenience."

22 Oct 2025, 23:35Capitec maintains its policy of requiring frequent PIN verification for all actions, citing security as the rationale. This approach raises several concerns:
- System Trust: Does the need for constant PIN entry suggest a lack of confidence in the underlying security infrastructure?
- Liability Concerns: Is this practice designed to potentially transfer responsibility for security incidents to the customer?
- Usability Impact: Does the frequency of PIN requests unnecessarily disrupt the user experience?
