VERY POOR SERVICE

<p>I approached Capitec to re-finance the loan that I have with them, due to increases in the cost of living, I was concerned that I would not be able to make my loan repayments. They had arranged this on a previous loan that I have finished paying off. After having been back three times, the first to have my documentation with me. this I can accept. I was then told that I had to prove that my exepenses had gone up and strangely enough was given the example that should my husband have died I would have to prove that so that they could re-finance. I was then told that if I could not present a death certificate for a husband I did not and do not have, I could present myself with my payslips and they would re-finance, whiche I duly did...visit number three. After more than a half hour I was told that because my salary had not decreased, they would not re-finance. ????? do theses people not employ analysists that are aware that the price of living has gone up? I have now approached FNB who are happy to re-finance my loan. I however have found out that Capitec reuturned a debit order for my car payment, when there was money in the account and have now put me a month behind in my payment. none of this was communicated to me through sms or any other form of communication. they have now put my credit rating at risk and have made my life hell. I recommend that you take your banking business elsewhere befor they sink you too. any other bank would be better if you want your credit rating untouched and if you want your bank to communicate with you - do not use Capitec</p>
