USELESS, UNHELPFUL CAPITEC BANK!

On Tuesday 25 May 2021, I made a payment of R8850 mistakenly into a wrong bank account. After realizing my mistake, I immediately contacted the unhelpful, waste of time, Capitec Call Center. The lady advise me that it would cost me R160 to attempt a reversal and that they could not guarantee a reversal. They gave me a reference number ***0 and told me the process takes 7-14days and that they would contact me. To date none of the unskilled call center agents have contacted me. I called them every 2-3 days enquiring about how far they were in the "investigation", all I was told that they were in the 7-14days query time and that they would contact me. On Monday 07/06/2021, I called the call center once again, the consultant advised me that the reversal was unsuccessful and that nothing further could be done. They can't or wont give me the account details of the person with whom the money is, but I was advised to go to small claims court to try and get MY money back. Question? Who will I sue without the person's information? The call center agents are extremely unhelpful. I don't understand how they can have a facility that says they will help you with a reversal but can't reverse the money. My friend had a similar mishap with Nedbank and they paid out her money within 24hours! So what the hell with Capitec? I used to recommend Capitec to all my friends and family, I will never make that mistake again!!! I am so frustrated, it is a lot of money, that I don't have but NEED. I will be switching to another bank, I cannot be part of such a useless organization or circus!
