Useless technical department
Your technical department is absolutely useless! I reported a problem with trying to transer funds to my son’s Capitec account, when I try to do so I get this message AGAIN AND AGAIN “A server error was encountered. If the problem persists call Client Care on ***. (***) then it signs me out. My son and I have had our accounts for the past 7 years and this problem has only arisen now. My son’s account is the ONLY one where it happens. I am so tired of your lack of service uselessness. It was supposed to be ESCALATED a month ago. If this problem is not fixed urgently I will close all my accounts with Capitec.

22 Dec 2020, 14:35One of your consultants phoned me about the problem yesterday. I gave her my son's overseas telephone number and she phoned him today to get permission to work on his Capitec account to see why I am unable to transfer money to his Capitec account from my Capitec account. My son confirms their telephone call and advised that the problem should be resolved. IT IS NOT. Exactly the same thing happens. Your technical department/customer liaison officer has NOT resolved anything. I repeat Capitec - you do not know what you are doing. This is very disappointing as I was mostly satisfied with Capitec's service, but this technical glitch seems to be way beyond your IT department's capability.

22 Dec 2020, 15:52Happy to say I have just been contacted by the consultant in the complaints department, we worked through some details on my own Capitec account internet site, and all is well now. Thank you for your help and for resolving what was a very frustrating situation.
