Useless service

On the 21 February 2020 I reported this person who claimed to be selling a car on www.car.co.za so I was interested in it we communicate with this guy up until I had to make payment so he sent me a capitec account than I transferred the money and after that the guy stopped answering my calls so I contacted the bank to report this and the call center agent advised me to open a case I did so now I went to the branch to provide the case number but the consultant just looked at it and said I dont need to give her the case number since I reported already so she gave me the incident number and said the forensic people will call me. So Saturday I went to find out about this case the lady who assisted me said this was closed and today she tells me I was called and I dont know anything about such call made to me so the end of the story is people will lose money and the bank does nothing about it and also to this person who is also their customers.
