USE OF APP WITH BIOMETRICS

All of a sudden Capitec Bank wants me to use biometrics to sign into my account on my app on my phone. I REFUSE to use biometrics in any fashion on my phone. This just calls for me to close my account as i am not prepared to do this. When I phoned Capitec I was informed to restart my phone and then try again. Did that got the tee shirt and still the problem. I once used biometrics to open my phone and had major problems until I managed to close that on my phone.
