************* bank ever

Did a transfer of R5000.00 in 25 March 2016 at 16:10 with CAPITEC bank N1 City Cape Town asked the consultant that it might happen that I will have to reverse payment if there are any hussles regarding property I was going to view that day as it is an FNB account that I was transtfering to and the reason why I an paying upfront it is to secure the place as seen on the photos sent by owner. The consultant assured me that since it is Capitec to FNB the transfere will take up to24 minimum and 48hrs max. for the person to withdraw the money but as long as I come early the next morning to reverse money if there was anything shady about the deal the money will deffinetely be reversed to my account as the other person would not have received it yet.Early the next morning I was at the bank at 08:30am met with another consultant that said it is fine as atleast I came in early enough for them to logg a call and a call was logged that was at my cost -as money was deducted from my account for it .I think amounted to R98.00 if I am sure about the amount.I was told the money will be on my account after 7 days as it is the process-waited for 7 days nothing ,then on the 8th day I went and the same consultant that logged a call for me named Lizelle attended me and again she called the same department regarding fedback using given reference and she told me that I should wait for 14days as they are still in process (communicating with FNB)and I should not worry as them as Capitec Bank are going to call me regarding feedback.Waited for the 14 days to complete and went on the 16th day and guess what I was told!that the fnb account I had transfered money to it was found to be a ********** account as so many people paid for the same property as I and reported issue and that my money is there on that account but could not be released until further investigation I was told to go and open a case just to secure my side -asked from work to go the same day to open case and went back with a case number the next day.I asked to speak to the manager -a young man came and explained everything ,gave him both reference numbers and believe me he was the worst as he told me but I should not be dealing with them regards this issue I was supposed to go to fnb as the are the ones that are liable for the refund as the money went to their bank account.what I hated the most is that he did not even show remorse as that was my whole salary taken and my children could not feed properly and no debt was paid becouse of this issue .I left and went to fnb erxplained the story they told me that Capitec was still on their right to retrieve the money back to my account as it was less than 24 hrs any way they will try and help -took athe case no and the transfere docs from capitec also said they will call till today I have not received communication. Not sure whether Capitec stole my money or Fnb but still believe that Capitec is the Bank I use and the consultant should have given me correct information on how transferes work -maybe I would have taken a different decision on that day.
