Unsatisfied& Irate. Revolting Service ***

I write to you with disgust and utter frustration to you and HOPE you will resolve the matter at hand

***** was committed on the 25th of August 2016 with my money at an ATM machine in Pretoria. The ****s got a hold of my card and withdrew R1000.00. Whilst on my way to the nearest Capitec bank branch to stop my card, another R1000.00 was withdrawn. I logged a complaint with Capitec at the branch and was given a reference number and was advised to wait 30DAYS for a response (WOW 30 days for a resolution). Today I received an sms with reference number ********** 3 and to contact ********** 813. Called and spoke to Jacques Johannes who told me that I will not be compensated. Told me to go log a call with the POLICE!!!! And that they can’t assist me further. WHAT THE ****!!!! LIKE REALLY????? DID I BANK WITH THE POLICE?????

I requested for the ombudsman details from Jacques and he gave me the number ********** OF WHICH DOESN’T GO THROUGH!!! WOW, WHY AM I SURPRISED!!!!!!!!!!

I then called ********** 900 to which I was advised by the voice operator that I needed a written response from the bank with a reference number. Called Jacques Johannes AGAIN for the said and he advised me that it will take 2-3 business working days. Oh my….Can’t say that I’m surprised about that. 2-3 working days for a letter to be submitted to the Ombudsman. Terrific turnaround time CAPITEC BANK!Just so you know. My limit was R1000.00, so how on earth was another R1000.00 withdrawn from my account if there was a limit of R1000.00. Clearly ***** has taken place, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that out. Capitec is pathetic, your customer service sucks. Money is being taken from us without our consent and we are not re-imbursed for it!!!

My sister banks with FNB, and she went through something similar to this. She was given her money back as a valued customer a goodwill gesture of which CAPITEC is not going to as it doesn’t value their clients. Clearly you do not value me as a loyal client. You need to learn from your opponents and this is me saying that I’m going to close my account with CAPITEC and moving to FNB where I know my money will be in good hands and I will be treated the way I deserve to be treated and will be loyal and they in return will be to me.
