Unsatisfactory service from Capitec

I have a savings account with Capitec bank, but i can never apply for any credit with Capitec, because apparently My profile was "sold" to MBD attorneys for a balance that i owed in 2002. When i call MBD Attorneys, they don't have any record of this Capitec balance that i own.

With reference to your query for the abovementioned client and your request for removal of the handover status please note that, as per the Capitec Bank Credit/Handover policy the handover status may not be removed for clients whose debt was SOLD. Capitec Bank sold all rights, title, interest and benefit in and to this client’s loan/s to MBD ***) on 25 August 2005. At the time of sale ownership and all attached or possible risk was transferred to the above EDC therefore all queries in this regard should be referred to their offices.

Based on the above the request for removal of the handover status is declined.

Capitec bank, if there's any money that i need to pay to clear my profile , please let me know on how i can get this done, please
