UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR OF CAPITEC
I'm extremely agitated in how Capitec and it's employees are treating people in this country. Dating back from 2013 I had a loan with Capitec and I was a good payer, however all havoc started around October 2017 where I made an arrangement because where work I was participating in protected strike. I was assisted by the lady called Takalani Raidani, whereby I mentioned to her before we make an arrangement that I have a query that I made at a nearest Capitec branch regarding my account. I then told her that there is a discrepancy that appears on my account, whereby the contract I signed showed that my last payment is on 25 March 2018, but to my surprise the system showed April 2018.
Subsequent to that Takalani said she will investigate and revert back to me, she indeed came back to me and acknowledged that the fault is theirs not the client which is me in this case, In essence there was an administrative glitch made by Capitec that the contract indicates that I pay 36 months but my last payment was March 2018.
Over and above that I can also pull out the archived bank statements as proof that, I have been paying penalties caused by the arrangement I did with Takalani in October 2017.
1. 25 Oct 2017 deducted= R1674.79 + R481.75 2. 24 Nov 2017 deducted= R1699.51(R487.75 rejected due to insufficient funds) 3. 19 Dec 2017 deducted= R1721.51 + R191.93 + R504.27 + R394.86 4. 25 Jan 2018 deducted= R503.76 + R1720.03 + R191.93 5. 23 Feb 2018 deducted= R1713.38 + R191.93 + R495.82 6. 23 March 2018 deducted= R490.79 + R1712.05 + R191.93 7. 25 April 2018 deducted= R1718.70 + R190.17 + R487.05
The total amount of all the above deductions was R16276.16, but to my surprise I was contacted by the person called Wendy Mbelekane who was rude and treated me like a ******** from centralised collections and said that I still owe Capitec. As we speak I get rejected by many banks because of this ********ness perpetuated to me by Capitec
I have now been harassed by people from vertex saying I owe Capitec the outstanding amount R5000.00 and I don't know where that comes from, because I have paid my dues. I demand that Capitec resolve this impasse with due diligence, as my life is now stuck because of this.
