Unfairness towards a mourning widow 💔
I am writing on behalf of my sister to express my disappointment and displeasure with Capitec bank regarding the claim funding, after my sister tragically lost her beloved husband on the 14 November 2024. As her being a former employee of the bank she had taken out a funeral cover for herself as well as her now late husband.
After having submitted all the required documents on the 20 November 2024 at the nearest Capitec bank in Mthatha town, in the Eastern Cape as per the bank regulations and instructions, including e.g., death certificate, ID, claim form, BI etc.
However, she still has not yet received the payment, as she has been told that the claim is under investigation nor has she I received any updates regarding the claim status, yet the funeral is expected to be taking place this coming weekend on Saturday 30 November. This is of great importance to my sister and my family to as a whole during this difficult time, I kindly request an update on the progress and the anticipated timeline for the disbur*****t of the funds. If this claim matter is not settled by tomorrow as a family we will be taking this entire claim matter further involving the family law as well as contacting all media houses in exposing Capitec bank in the distress and suffering they have caused in this whole claim matter. Having deducted money on my sister’s account on a monthly basis with no hassles now she has to succumb to such horrible and disgusting behaviour which is very unfair and distasteful for a mourning widow who is already going through a lot of suffering.
Please let me know if any additional information or documentation is required from my side to expedite the process. You can reach me via email at *** or on my sister’s mobile number at ***
I look forward to your prompt response.
