********* BUSINESS BY CAPITEC

My wife has three personal loans with Capitec as well as a credit card facility with Capitec. She pays her installments EVERY month. The last three months Capitec decided to take the installments earlier the 25th. BY CONTRACT Capitec are not allowed to take the money earlier then her salary date. We did bring this problem under the attention of the branch in the past and they showed us that on the system it has been indicated as the 25th. This morning, the 23rd of August 2018 - Capitec took TWO loan amounts as well as the credit card installment, TWO days before the 25th. I phoned the branch and spoke to the branch manager (bloemfontein Dynarc walk) and he informed me that the system has been designed that way and that my wife should come in in order to sort the matter. So let me understand this - we sign a contract with a bank but the contract does not applies to the bank? We were informed that we are not the only clients this happens with which means Capitec is '*****ing' interest by taking money earlier then contract stipulated. We have a specialist appointment for my wife today where we must put down R3000, thank you Capitec for taking our money and putting us in a situation where we cannot go to the specialist which was booked TWO months in advance! We don't have time to go to the branch to sort YOUR mess. This will be brought under the attention of the media as well as the ombudsman. This is *********. If the system has been designed that way it means it is human error and not system error which confirms that this is intentional.
