UNAUTHORIZED DEBIT ORDER

I am deeply concerned and disappointed by the inadequate security measures that Capitec has in place, which have exposed its clients to potential risks. As a banking institution, Capitec should promptly and effectively assist clients in disputing unauthorized debit orders without hesitation or deflecting responsibility. The ease with which SS Diversity gained access to my account highlights significant flaws in Capitec's security systems. It is evident that many customers, including myself, have raised concerns about these issues, yet Capitec continues to refer clients to the same unresponsive and potentially *****ulent companies.

Furthermore, this is not an isolated incident of *****ulent activity on my account. Just a week prior, a purchase of R13 occurred in Witbank while I was in Johannesburg. Capitec must urgently enhance the security of its systems and refrain from attributing such incidents to customer negligence when they are well aware that this is not the case. Regardless of how these unauthorized transactions occurred, Capitec should be capable of reversing them promptly. In today's economic climate, R399 holds significant value, and I would not have struggled with my funeral policy payments if I could genuinely afford such a debit.

These recurring issues have compelled me to transfer my salary to a more reliable bank, and I have no intention of returning to Capitec. I will maintain the account only for the convenience of dealing with those customers who mistakenly assume that everyone uses Capitec.
