I was supposed to pay my last instalment on my loan account with Capitec. I saw that the instalment deducted via debit order was lesser than normal instalment. I didn't mind asking because it usually happens that when it is the last instalment is lesser. But my loan account has a balance of R0.01, I didn't pay attention to this because I thought Capitec is the one who decided to take amount lesser than normal instalment but 1 cent shorter than balance, eventually they will correct their mistake.
At the end of September they deducted R69.01 from my account, why? I called Capitec on 06/10/20 to query, call reference number ***6. I spent more 20 minutes in the call, the lady who was assisting either kept quiet most of the time, not helping at all. She ended up saying she will call me back and will until now.
What I need is my R69 to be reversed back. It is not my fault that your debit order was less that 1 cent now I need to pay R69, why? You can keep your R0.01 that I owe but I want my R69 back. Over the years I have been a good client of Capitec and even thought about moving to you but this, I find it very unfair. Just because you have access to my account you do this.
