UNAUTHORISED DEBIT ORDERS BY CAPITEC BANK

My business had rental agreement with a company called telelink, and Mercantile bank now Capitec bank financed the agreement for 60 months. The period of the rental agreement ended in August 2023. We contacted the bank to notify of the cancellation of this arrangement as the contract has reached 60 month period. We were then advised that the agreement will extend to 31 January 2024 as there was a payment holiday to be taken into account. To date Capitec is still debiting my business account without any authorisation. We have tried to contact this bank through a chain of email and telephone calls. It seems no one knows how to go about with this matter. All we get is to be referred from one section to another to another and there is no end to this cycle, but Capitec bank continues to enjoy R1842.04 per month from my business account for no reason at all. This must stop. Please watch for this bank’s practices.
