UNAUTHORISED DEBIT ORDER

I noticed on Sunday an unknown debit order for R99.99 on my account. I emailed Customer Care at the same time. I received a response the next day to say that I must call the Customer Care Centre to dispute the debit order, as the bank does not have the capacity to verify the mandates when requested to honour a payment via debit order. I contacted the Customer Care Centre this morning and was informed that a charge of R35.00 will be payable to dispute the debit order, which I never authorised or know anything about. Is this not the most ridiculous situation that could be found at a bank? They pay someone from your account and then ask you to pay them a fee to "dispute" it. I am telling you that this debit order was not authorised by me. Please reverse it immediately and stop trying to make money due to your negligence.
