Unacceptable Service and Misleading Information
I recently changed jobs and I contacted Capitec on 12 March to update my debit order date. They rep**** to me on the 15th of which I also responded. I informed them that no supporting documents like payslip is available yet because I haven’t received it. I just need my debit order date changed.
A Nadine called me and advised me to email collections as they can help. (Not sure why my email wasn’t routed to them in the first place). So I emailed them, was assisted by a very rude Khanya who made the changes to the debit order date and assured me all is sorted. I also was advised by another consultant that I should only contact collections department a day or 2 before the current pay date.
My problem now is that Capitec is telling me I’m in arrears!!! Literally a day after changing my debit order date. Of course the debit order will bounce, because I changed my salary date, yet they continued to submit for collection against my account. This makes me extremely angry, because I have a great credit score and I don’t want it ruined by this. A Thembela called me and said she had escalated this to her Team Leader, 2 days ago and I have heard nothing.
Ivo been banking with Capitec since 2010 and have had no issues until this.
Please sort this out urgently and immediately. I’m not in arrears, I changed my debit order date on time based on YOUR consultants advise. So fix that on your end please!!!
