Trouble opening a bank account

I'm beyond frustrated with Capitec Bank's inability to solve my problem.

6 months ago I tried opening a account at Capitec but was told that there was a person that **********ly tried opening a account using my details and a block or hold was put on my name. I was assured that the problem would be solved within 10 working days and my account would be opened. Sadly this hasn't happened and everytime (8 times to be precise) I go to a branch to enquire about this I get no joy as there is never any progress infact the consultant repeats the same thing that was done on previous occasions.

What can I do to resolve this issue ? Please help
