THIS BANK NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN

Capitec has still not bothered itself to get in touch with me. Anthony Richards Attorneys is now refusing to close my file or issue a clearance letter despite endeavoring to do so on 27/07/2017 after sending my payment and states this is due to me owing R210.00 in interest despite the fact that the amount reflected on 25/07/2017 was R4207.33 to which I paid R4208.00

Capitec please issue something to me in writing so that I may approach the Banking Ombud, I believe this bank is absolutely *********!!!! I WILL NEVER BANK HERE AGAIN

Reviewer Update
I have given this bank my patience and sanity. This matter has been open for two months now and at all material times I've had to be the one that contacts Nondi for an update. I did not receive feedback within the 10 business days advised to investigate the query I raised regarding being handed over to attorneys and at all times no one gave feedback. Now I'm told handover was correct despite a letter being dated Dec 2016 and no agent taking the time to tell me that handover to attorneys would occur failing putting an arrangement in place. Instead I'm told about arrears and that I shouldve anticipated that handover would occur Nowhere in the National Credit Act does it state a consumer should anticipate handover to attorneys failing receiving a s129 letter or being advised of same by the agents that can call to harrass for payment but fail to inform of bank procedure. The bank generated the handover in Dec with a 90day anticipated handover but handover only occurred in june 2017 and I'm told this letter is valid and not defective despite my balance changing and payments being made by debit order each month I do not want to be contacted by customer service I believe consumers should just be made aware of the shiftiness of this bank that has collections agents calling people on a Sunday and Saturday
