Their Service Sucks

I have/had a load account with capitec. now that i am trying to close it it is a mission. its like they want me to stay in debt with them. at first i called them to get a settlement letter, they promised me i would have it in 48hrs.

i never received it, i went into the branch, they couldn't help me, because i took the loan online. the lady called and they sent her the settlement letter. I then paid. two days later after my payment in full, i called ***, i pressed the option for credit, i was kept on hold for more than 10 min, the line was open but no hold music, so you are not sure if the line is dead, until you are cut off. I called again pressed option 1 this time, spoke to a very impatient young man, who said he will put me through to the right department. Guess what this department answered and this person placed my call on the side, continued to have a conversation with their colleagues after 7 min they decided to hang up on me because i didn't hang up.

now i was ready to leave my bank and come to capitec because of their pricing, but i dont think no amount of cheap pricing is worth this **** service. imagine being a client of theirs, they would treat me worse than this.

CAPITEC, ALL I WANT IS A LETTER CONFIRMING MY ACCOUNT IS PAID IN FULL AND FOR YOU TO UPDATE TRANS UNION ACCORDINGLY.
