The pleasure of opening a new Capitec Bank account

After hearing that we were looking to change banks, the wife and I were advised by a neighbour working for SASSA to open a Capitec Bank Account. So my wife, being a woman, decided to do this on the last day of February, which I, being a man, thought was a horrible idea, but because I have no say in this, (or any other matter) I had to go along with the plan, already knowing that we will have to wait for hours with my frustration levels going through the roof. But what a jaw-dropping surprise (of the pleasant kind) awaited us at the 'Saxby' branch in Centurion. The whole experience was one of friendly efficiency, and over in a flash! I was taken through the process by Karabo and when I left the bank clutching my new Capitec Card (with my name already printed in gold nogal) I felt I just made a new friend. My wife's experience mirrored mine, but she unfortunately did not take her new friend's name. We can recommend Capitec Bank wholeheartedly and without reservation - all other banks should take a leaf out of their book.
