Terrible service from consultants that are responsible for social media (Facebook messenger)
I am super ****ed off. On the 27th of October I did a cash withdrawal at the Capitec ATM inside shoprite store durban. I received R200 x 5 notes and one note is spoilt. I logged query to Capitec via Facebook messenger and I was told that Capitec is not responsible for the spoilt notes I must direct my complaint to Shoprite management. I did exactly that, sent query to shoprite via Facebook messenger. Shoprite contacted me today and advised me that they are not responsible for bank notes coming from Capitec ATM as they do not top up these machines but Capitec does. I messaged Capitec again asking why am I getting wrong advice from them and the response was that they don't assist with spoilt notes. I must contact South African Reserve Bank for assistance. I asked why must it be my responsibility to return spoilt notes to reserve bank if I am not the one who damaged it as it came from Capitec ATM. The answer was that I may visit Capitec branch and they should be able to assist. Capitec consultants failed dismal to apply themselves when dealing with my complain they just close queries without resolving them and this has delayed me with more that a week.
