Term Loan Application

I app**** for a term loan with the Greenstone Shopping Centre branch last week Wed 7 Aug 2024.I was helped by Junior.He processed my application and informed me that I was qualifying for an offer,thereafter he told me that work confirmation had to be completed.When the branch manager tried to confirm my employment with our HR dept,the lady that usually confirm,was out of office.When she initially was back in the office,our main server was down,so she send the work confirmation template from her personal email & CC'ed her work email.I went back to the branch on Thurs & I was told that my application was forwarded to the forensic dept,cause some info was missing on the payslip & they also raised a concern around the employment confirmation been done from our HR personal email.I told the branch manager Sibusiso Dlamini,that I will take this matter up with our HR manager Ronel Moses,so employment confirmation was resend directly from her work email & acknowledgement was forwarded from the branch manager.I went back to the branch today & the manager was very rude,he told me at first that I can't speak to him and that I must go and find out from the consultant what's the outcome on my application.When I approached the consultant,he only told me that the application was declined & that he couldn't divulge any further info as the matter was with forensics.I asked him to call the manager to give me more info around the outcome of the application & I can safely say that I was treated like a ******** & they just told me that I must deal with the complaints dept via email.I requested a ref no to take this matter up and they told me in a very rude tone,that they can't help me and that I must use my ID no.I have been banking with Capitec for close to 5 years and if this is the level of disrespect that I'm getting from *********** staff,then I think its time I move my account to another bank that will give me better service.
