Surely this is a prank

I app**** for credit on 12 September 2022. Since then I have followed up on the application daily as I urgently required the loan. I seldom received direct feedback in respect of the loan but rather received phone calls from a bank official asking me about my experience. These officials were generally very friendly and helpful. However, on three such occasions the caller would ASSURE me that they would provide feedback before COB that day. None of them did so. Most recently, yesterday i sent an email as well as followed up on whatsapp. after that i received a call from a bank rep. I was dumbstruck that the rep, Akona is calling me to offer me credit. When I informed Akona that i have app**** and still awaiting feedback she was very apologetic and helpful. She indicated that she has loaded another application and had escalated it immediately. I still asked for her details so i could write a good review for her. She promised to send me an email with her details and promised to call me back before COB. I have received neither.

Surely this is a prank! I honestly feel like being taken for a fool.
