Suprise garnish order

To whom it may concern,

First of all an agent from Capitec Bank came to my work area about two years back to make a payment arrangement with me. I agreed and told him I can afford R500.00. The next thing I know I was garnished by Flemix a R1000 if can remember correctly . I was never issued with a summons to go to court to discuss my debt. I decided to leave it because I didn't really know my rights.

I then contacted a gentleman from Flemix who was very helpful. I made a payment arrangement with him for R500 on both my loans. This was has been going off from my paslip ever since. Last month I got a shock of my life when I was garnished R1000 by Hammond pole attorne. No one called me to inform me of the changes just for courtesy. Since I only have one garnish order I just assumed that Its capitec bank.

I then googled for contact numbers for Hammond pole attorney and phoned them and they sent me letter to confirm that Capitec bank has appointed them to act on their behalf. When i called capitec bank I was transferred from pillar to post which is why I decided to use an alternative route.

I cant afford the R500 garnish on my payslip. I made an arrangement for R500 .
