Stupidity at its best

This morning I went into my Capitec branch in Tzaneen to open an account for my kids. For proof of residence, I gave my Rental agreement as proof. I get told sorry, it is older than three months can't except it.

Now I find that very funny. I would think the longer somebody's rental agreement is, the more stable you look. It seems that this lady called FICA wants it like that.

The issue I have is that surely the consultant should be able to work this out for themselves, but I suppose commonsense is common, just maybe not as common everywhere.

Needless to say, I'm to stable for Capitec Bank to open an account for me, or so it seems, because I have been renting my house for longer than three months and I intend to stay there at least another three years. I suppose I'll have to wait for three years before I open an account with them, because that is when my proof of residence will be shorter than three months.

This is getting worse, I received a SMS that it should be sorted out in two days, this mail says in three working days which could be Monday or Tuesday next week. Wow, now that is called service.

I think attention sooner would be a fare request.
